Credit payments back to your clients following these steps
- Log in to your Headnote account
- Click the “Payments” tab on the top navigation bar
- Select the payment you want to refund
4. Click the blue “Refund Button” at the bottom of the Payment Details page
5. Begin to build your refund
A) Choose to refund the full amount of the payment or change to a partial amount
B) Select a reason for the refund from the drop-down menu
C) Include a message for your client
6. Click “confirm” to finalize your refund
Note: You will see a new transaction in your “Payments” tab with the latest refund. Let your clients know it may take 3-5 business days for the refund to be credited back to their account.
